The JitterBug has landed!
Audioquest’s latest computer audio improvement has arrived!
The JitterBug is a noise filter for your USB’s power (voltage) bus and signal lines, offering sonic benefits when used in series and/or parallel with your USB DAC and other devices! This little darling ‘tweak’ caught the eyes and ears of many members of the Audiophile press back in CES2015. We currently have a limited quantity of them IN STOCK along with DEMO units for you to listen to! For $49, this tweak is simply a must-have for your computer-based audio system. The sonic value has been deemed to be far more than that by more than one trusted reviewer:
- Lavorgna (CES2015 preview): http://www.audiostream.com/content/audioquest-jitterbug
49 bucks buys you some of the soundest improvements I’ve heard for anywhere near the price.
- Darko (In-depth review of a prototype): http://www.digitalaudioreview.net/2015/05/on-the-road-with-the-audioquest-jitterbug/
In fact, I’ve heard DAC deltas smaller than those heard between the AK120 II with and without JitterBug – yes, the message here is that simple and at a the US$49 asking, the risks of buy-before-you-try are suitably low.
- Fremer (CES2015 teaser): http://www.stereophile.com/content/audioquest-jitterbug
Fremer doesn’t do more than point to Lavorgna’s write-up, but the comment from reader DOUG (Houston Audio Society) is right in-line with our experience:
hearing is believing… we are anxiously awaiting this $49 wonder.
